Gluggle Jug
Originating over 150 years ago, Gluggle Jug is the steward of the classic British novelty tableware design. Crafted by a local pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, the ceramic jug's name derives from the glugging sound it makes when poured at three-quarters full. Originally designed by Thomas Forester & Son in Staffordshire in the late 1870’s, the jug has a rich history, including a special pair made in 1958 for presentation to the Queen and Prince Philip.
